Ceramic artist Amy Kastelin creates her hand built pots in her home studio on Sunset Hill. She begins by carving her unique designs into a dense foam surface, then embossing slabs of clay with her carvings before forming her pots which include mugs, planters, vases, platters and more. Many of her designs incorporate the beauty of the PNW, both native botanicals and landmarks as well as familiar structures. Amy will be at Niche during the art walk - please come meet her!
