Beginning on August 8 and going until August 31, Niche will be hosting Community Spoons: Hand Carving for Hope benefiting the Ballard Food Bank! Members of the Seattle Spoon Club have donated 60 hand carved spoons as well as over a dozen turned bowls to raise funds for this valuable asset in our community.

The Seattle Spoon Club will be demonstrating their skills at two events in August to raise awareness:

*Ballard Art Walk: Saturday, August 9, 6-9pm

*Ballard Farmers Market: Sunday, August 24, 10am-2pm

YOU can support BFB in three ways while at Niche: 1) buy a hand carved wooden spoon - 60% of the purchase price will be donated; 2) give money directly to BFB through our donation page; 3) donate shelf-stable foods when you visit us.
