Ballard Art Walk featuring Mark Rudolph of Oyster Point Woodworks

Come meet Mark Rudolph of Oyster Point Woodworks during the November Ballard Art Walk!

Using predominantly salvaged wood from local trees, Mark Rudolph of Oyster Point Woodworks hand carves his functional art, adapting his vision for each piece to honor the characteristics of the wood. He draws inspiration from mid-century design and sculpture, using a combination of clean, flowing lines, geometric forms and carved textures to create an organic, minimalist aesthetic.

Niche is pleased to have Mark's hand-carved utensils and vases in the gallery this month! Stop by for some glühwein, meet the artist and take home a repurposed piece of the PNW.

Maps of the art walk route are available at Niche - check out more great local businesses in Ballard!
